What is Florence Jobs?
Florence Jobs matches care professionals, carers, nurses, managers, chefs, housekeepers, maintenance and admin staff, with permanent roles across the UK. No agencies, no shifts, no endless scrolling.
Is it free for job seekers?
Yes. Creating a profile and being matched with employers is completely free for seekers, always.
Will hirers know how to contact me?
Only when you've applied to their role, or when they choose to unlock your profile from our database. You'll get a friendly heads-up either way, and you choose whether to engage.
Where do you operate?
UK only, permanent care roles only. We don't cover temporary shifts, agency placements, or roles outside the care sector.
How do I get started?
Sign up as a seeker from the homepage and build a quick profile. We'll start matching you with permanent roles right away.

For hirers

How does it work for hirers?
Hirers buy credits and spend them only when they want to act: unlocking the contact details of an applicant, or reaching out to a candidate they've found in our database. No subscriptions, no agency fees, no per-hire commission.
How much do credits cost?
It depends on volume, but credits can be as little as £1 each. One credit unlocks one contact, no tiers and no hidden fees. Exact pricing is shown on the hirer dashboard.
What does a credit get me?
One credit unlocks the full contact details (email and phone) of a single candidate, whether they applied to your role or you found them by searching our database.
Do I pay anything before I see candidates?
No. Browsing matches and seeing candidate profiles is free. You only spend a credit when you decide to unlock someone's contact details, or choose to send someone a message.
What if a candidate doesn't reply or isn't interested?
Response rates depend a lot on how strong your profile and role are, so it's important to have a quality company profile, a clear role description and realistic pay. We can't promise candidates will always reply, but we show stats on activity and response rate so you don't waste credits on inactive profiles.
What happens if I pay a credit and the candidate doesn't answer me?
We can't promise a reply, but we want you to have a good experience. If a candidate chooses to match but then ignores you, you can report it and it will be flagged on their profile. If you see this on someone's profile then think twice before spending a credit.
Will candidates know I've contacted them?
Yes. When you unlock a seeker, they get a friendly heads-up that you'd like to chat. They choose whether to engage, but you always get their contact info.
